A successful Bozeman renovation project starts with a clear vision and good design, but that is only half of it. In this project video Peter’s client is kind enough to describe how this Bozeman renovation project triumphs with a stunning design and excellent project management.
The Design:
The client was looking to upgrade the overall look of the home, starting with an eye-catching front entry. The covered roof structure is a combination of heavy wood timbers and oversized architectural steel connections. This roof structure of wood and steel rests on raw concrete pillars and bench seating that act to visually ground this new entry. The project also features new steel siding, an attractive bedroom window seat, and a master bedroom balcony with French doors.
Project Management:
While a strong design is of primary concern, I take the time to actively match a client with a qualified building contractor. I want committed professionals that will manage a project with quality work, proper attention to detail, and good communication. My background in construction allows me to identify and cultivate working relationships with local contractors I respect and trust.
Neal Baggett and Jeff Thompson and their company Thombagg Architects were the contractors my client hired to manage this project. These renovation contractors, their journeyman carpenters, and the subcontractors are performing at a high level, so much so that our client was kind enough to narrate his Bozeman renovation project experience for this video blog. Having a client willing to share this experience with us is a great way to showcase what a positive remodeling process can look like.
Good project management is an essential part of remodeling, and there’s nothing like the feeling of implementing a plan to create something new and beautiful. All the members of the team have done an outstanding job executing this Bozeman renovation project. For more information about my working relationship with clients go to my reviews page at Houzz
